National Finals Rodeo week always brings many of the most popular names in country music to Las Vegas and this year’s event encompasses some truly massive acts in George Strait, Shania Twain, Dwight Yoakam and the Reba, Brooks & Dunn residency at the Colosseum.

But one of the most anticipated country concert events coming to the Strip this week is “Ride All Night Vegas,” a three-show set at Park Theater from Jason Aldean set for December 6-8 (info at parkmgm.com.)

Aldean released his ninth studio album “9” just before Thanksgiving and is expected to launch a three-month arena tour in early 2020, but first he’ll show off his new music at his first proper concerts in Las Vegas since the Route 91 Harvest Musical Festival on October 1, 2017. Aldean and his band were performing onstage when the shooting started.

Aldean has appeared and performed here since then during award shows but he said he’s looking forward to playing to his fans in Las Vegas again and moving beyond the tragedy.

“I still think there’s a little bit of a healing process to go through with some of those people,” Aldean told USA Today recently. “That’s part of the reason we want to go back. And partly for us, too … just mentally, for us to go back and (for) our last show in Vegas not to be Route 91.”

Nearby at T-Mobile Arena, Strait resumes his record-breaking residency December 6 and 7, while Twain opens her second Strip headlining residency at Zappos Theater at the Planet Hollywood Resort on December 6. Reba, Brooks & Dunn return to their “Together in Vegas” Caesars Palace show December 4-14 and Yoakam makes his Wynn Las Vegas debut with six performances at Encore Theater December 4-14.

The 2019 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo will be held at the Thomas & Mack Center December 5-14. Here are some more country music acts playing in Las Vegas in the coming weeks: The Downtown Hoedown features multiple acts at the Fremont Street Experience on December 4; the Hooey Jam features different artists every day at Robert Irvine’s Public House at the Tropicana December 5-14; Gary Allan plays the Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel December 6-7; the Charlie Daniels Band is at the Golden Nugget on December 8; Cody Johnson performs at the Joint on December 12; Robert Earl Keen plays Brooklyn Bowl at the Linq Promenade on December 13; and Kip Moore and Midland take the stage at the Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan on December 14.
