Metro Police say they have resolved a barricade situation involving an armed person in the east valley. The person was taken into custody without incident, police said.
The FBI and SWAT officers responded, police said.
Residents around the 100 block of Bel Port Drive were evacuated, police said.
Metro advised people to avoid the area of Nellis Boulevard between Stewart Avenue and Charleston Boulevard. Roads in the area were subsequently reopened.
