The Desert Pines High basketball team, which last season advanced to the state quarterfinals, is again expected to make a deep playoff run.

The Jags are led by sophomore guard Milos Uzan, a third-team all-state selection last season who has scholarship offers from the likes on UNLV and TCU. Also, junior DayShawn Wiley averaged 13.5 points and five rebounds per game last season.
