A woman from Hawaii hit a $1 million jackpot while playing a Wheel of Fortune slot machine Saturday night at the Fremont in downtown Las Vegas.
The woman, who asked to remain anonymous, hit the $1.098 million jackpot on a $5 spin, according to a statement by casino operator Boyd Gaming.
It was the second big jackpot scored by a Hawaiian visitor at a Boyd Gaming property in downtown Las Vegas in as many months. In October, a player hit a $930,000 jackpot at Main Street Station.
