A 72-year-old man was arrested on a murder count today after a woman, 75, was found dead this morning with blunt force trauma to her head, according to Henderson Police.
Officers responded about 9:15 a.m. today to a call of unknown trouble in the 600 block of National Street, near Boulder Highway and Major Avenue, police said. They found the woman dead at the scene, police said.
A preliminary investigation revealed a disturbance had occurred between the suspect, Narciso Ramos, and the victim, police said. Ramos was arrested on a count of open murder and booked at the Henderson Detention Center, police said.
The victim’s name was not released, pending notification of her family, police said.
No additional details were released.
