A motorcyclist was killed Friday night when he crashed into an SUV that turned into his path on a northwest valley road, according to Metro Police.
The 29-year-old Las Vegas resident was pronounced dead on West Deer Springs Way, near Durango Drive, where the crash was reported at 7:37 p.m.
Police said the victim, who was riding a 2014 Ducati Superbike, was heading west on Deer Springs when he collided with the left side of a 2016 Dodge Journey, which was making a U-turn.
The motorist, 34, was taken to University Medical Center for “moderate” injuries.
The investigation was ongoing.
