A suspect wanted in a sexual assault is in custody, Metro Police announced late Tuesday, hours after they released his name and photo.

Police identified Ryan Lorraine, 54, as the suspect in the assault, which was reported about 2 a.m. Monday in the 700 block of Langtry Drive, near Bonanza Drive and Valley View Boulevard.

On Monday morning, Metro reported SWAT activity in the neighborhood but said no one was found in a house when they cleared it. Police said Tuesday that Lorraine had evaded them.

A fugitive task force arrested him without incident near Summerlin Parkway and Rampart Boulevard, police said.

Lorraine was being held at the Clark County Detention Center on five counts of sex assault, three counts of battery to commit sex assault on a victim 16 years or older, and one count each of kidnapping and coerce for sex with force, threat or force, jail logs show.
