A fire in a neighborhood northwest of the Las Vegas Strip heavily damaged a house, but nobody was injured, according to Las Vegas Fire & Rescue officials.
The fire was reported about 1:45 p.m. in the 2000 block of Las Verdes Street, in the area of Oakey and Valley View boulevards.
The fire heavily damaged the interior of the single-story home, officials said. The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
Six people were displaced, officials said.
