A suspect has been arrested in the stabbing of a person found on a sidewalk earlier this month, according to Metro Police.
The victim, who was near a bus stop before he was stabbed, was found about 8:10 p.m. on Jan. 15 near Sahara and Eastern Avenues, police said.
He was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead, police said. His name was not released.
The suspect, Qais Fawad, 36, was taken into custody Jan. 20 in the 3600 block of Maryland Parkway, police announced today.
Fawad was booked at the Clark County Detention Center on counts of open murder and robbery, police said.
