A visitor from the Cleveland area won over $400,000 while gambling on the Strip on Monday, according to a news release from Caesars Entertainment.
Joseph Jeckel, of Willoughby, Ohio, won a Crazy 4 Poker jackpot worth just under $413,000 at Harrah’s Las Vegas, the release said.
Jeckel won the progressive jackpot with an ace-high diamond royal flush. Jeckel landed the hand after only 15 minutes at the table, the release said.
He said he plans to pay off the home he owns with his wife and set some money aside for the education of his children.
Jeckel added that he plans to use some of his winnings to come to Las Vegas more often.
