Thank you for publishing the April 25 letter “Act fast, smart on climate crisis.” It is correct that we need to put a price on carbon. That is the only action that will force everyone to share the burden on the climate change caused by using fossil fuels.
Until we pay the proper price for our actions, we will make the wrong choices. The best choice is to collect fees at the mine or well, then return that money to people as a dividend.
