We attended a local production Saturday night at one of the libraries, and we were looking forward to it as we have been very careful about not catching COVID-19.
The production company required masks to be worn at all times. People waiting in line were complaining about this, saying they were going to remove the masks or wear them under their noses once in the theater.
I asked two monitors if they were going to check this situation during the show and was told that they were not the mask police.
Since the venue was only half full, we moved to the last row. At least a third of the people did not comply with the mandate. When people ask us why we still love Las Vegas, we usually say it’s because we always feel like geniuses here.
