The writer of the May 28 letter “Is anything done in Davos?” could answer his question and set aside his mocking tone by actually looking at what representatives are doing there. But, he really doesn’t care about the reality of anthropogenic global warming resulting in climate disruption.
The rest of us will take action that improves our lives. Our electric vehicle, coupled with solar panels and going all-electric, are good steps that help the poor indirectly by reducing the demand for fossil fuels, keeping prices lower than they otherwise would be. It has helped our pocketbook directly, as well, by not having to fill up using gasoline and putting more money toward oil companies’ obscene profits.
Your move, deniers. Complain about high gas prices or move toward a cleaner future? Your lungs and children need you to take action.
