Henderson Police: Stolen vehicle involved in injury crash

A stolen vehicle that failed to pull over for a traffic stop was involved in crash that left two people with nonlife-threatening injuries, according to Henderson Police.

The incident was reported about 10:35 a.m. today near Green Valley and Paseo Verde parkways, police said.

An officer attempted to stop a vehicle, which failed to yield and tried to flee, causing a collision involving two other vehicles, police said.

Three people ran from the vehicle that attempted to flee, which was later determined to be stolen, police said. All three were taken into custody, police said.

Police did not say what charges, if any, they faced or why the officer initially tried to stop the vehicle.

Two people from the other vehicles were transported to an area hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, while two other people were evaluated at the scene, police said.

The investigation was ongoing, police said.
