Rocker Chris Daughtry, who goes professionally by his last name, will perform a live acoustic set on April 13 at The Beatles REVOLUTION Lounge at The Mirage. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to the ONE Campaign (ONE.org) to fight the emergency of global AIDS and extreme poverty.
Two hundred tickets to the performance will be auctioned on eBay today throuogh March 31; bidding begins at 7 p.m. PDT. To access the auction site, click here. (You must be 21 years or older to bid.) One of the most successful breakout stars emerging from “American Idol,” Daughtry’s first album is nearing 4 million in sales. The band has the opening slot on Bon Jovi’s current tour, which comes to the MGM Grand on April 12.
