Passover Events:

Wednesday, April 8

Passover Dinner at Society Cafe at Encore: Enjoy Passover Dinner at Society Cafe at Encore where you can dine on matzo ball soup, braised beef short ribs, roasted Jidori chicken and a dessert of chocolate mousse and almond macaroons.

Passover Seder at Midbar Kodesh Temple: Midbar Kodesh Temple will host a Passover Seder. L'Chaim Kosher Catering will prepare the dinner and Rabbi Bradley Tecktiel and Cantor Andres Kornworcel will lead the seder in story and song. Pre-paid reservations are now being taken by calling the synagogue at 454-4848, extension 1.

Thursday, April 9

Second Night of Passover Seder at Temple Sinai: Celebrate the second night of Passover with a Seder at Hills Event Center at Temple Sinai. The meal will include a full Passover Seder with chicken and brisket.

Annual Kosher Passover Seder at Santa Fe Station Centennial Ballroom: Bet Knesset Bamidbar, Sun City will hold their Annual Kosher Passover Seder, conducted by Rabbi Hershel Brooks, at the Santa Fe Station Centennial Ballroom. Passover Buffet at all Station Casinos Feast Buffets: Station Casinos will celebrate Passover with a special Passover Buffet at all of the Feast Buffets featuring braised beef brisket, matzo ball soup, smoked whitefish, potato latkes and noodle pudding.

Saturday, April 4

The Easter Bunny at Hash House A Go Go: Hash House is teaming up with the St. Therese Center for HIV Outreach to bring the Easter Bunny to the restaurant. The Easter Bunny will be there from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. and will be taking free photos. Come dine on their famously oversized and delicious entrees while you meet the Easter Bunny.

Boulder City Annual Easter Egg Hunt: The Annual Boulder City Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 4. This event is sponsored by the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Lambda Chapter. The event is for toddlers through first graders. The Easter Bunny will be available for photos before the event begins at 9 a.m. in Wilbur Square.

Easter at the Cupcakery: The Cupcakery is selling its 2009 Signature Easter assortment with 12 different varieties topped with the best Easter decorations yet. Las Vegas Easter Bonnet Competition and Show at the Rio: The second annual Las Vegas Easter Bonnet Competition and Show, a fundraiser for the Saint Therese Center HIV Outreach Program will be held in the Chippendales Theatre at the Rio. The event will feature cast members and bonnets from such hit shows as Phantom, Jersey Boys, Chippendales, Jubilee, Sopranos Last Supper, and Tony and Tina's Wedding, among others.

Monday, April 6

Retro Bakery celebrates Easter: Retro Bakery invites its customers to celebrate spring with its own version of an Easter Egg Hunt. From April 6 to 11, if you find an Easter Egg on the bottom of your cupcake, it's free! All Retro cupcakes also will be dressed for Easter all week long, so come get your tasty Easter treats.

Wednesday, April 8

CSN's Spring Carnival: The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) will host the Spring Carnival at the Charleston campus in the B Building lobby. Bring the entire family for a fun-filled evening with games, food, prizes, contests and an Easter egg hunt! Activities will include: Easter egg designing, a coloring contests, an Easter egg hunt, musical chairs, balloon pop and the cupcake walk.

Maundy Thursday services at Good Samaritan Lutheran Church: Good Samaritan Lutheran Church will host a Maundy Thursday service starting at 6:30 p.m., to commemorate the Last Supper.

Friday, April 10

Good Friday services at Good Samaritan Lutheran Church: Good Samaritan Lutheran Church will present a Good Friday Service of Shadows and Remembrance at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, April 11

Wag-a-tail Walk-a-thon fundraiser at The Kellogg Zaher Sports Complex: The Kellogg Zaher Sports Complex will host the Wag-a-tail Walk-a-thon fundraiser for the The Las Vegas Valley Humane Society. It will be a great day to enjoy the nice weather with your pets and two-legged family members. The day includes an "Easter Bonnet Contest for you & your four-legged friends" as well as chances to microchip your pet, take photos, enjoy sponsor exhibits and have professional photos taken of your pets.

Bunny Boogie at Mountain Crest Park: Clark County Parks and Recreation and CBS Radio celebrate spring with the annual Bunny Boogie event at Mountain Crest Park. Children ages 10 and younger will visit participating booths for their plastic eggs filled with candy and prizes while their families can enjoy the park and other spring activities.

Sunday, April 12

Easter Sunday at Good Samaritan Lutheran Church: Enjoy an Easter extravaganza at Good Samaritan Lutheran Church. Worship services will be held at 6 (sunrise), 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m. An Easter breakfast will be held from 7 to 11 a.m. A community-wide Easter egg hunt for toddlers through 5th graders will be held at 10:30 a.m. on the church grounds.

Easter Sunrise Service at Palm Mortuary: The community is invited to the 24th annual Easter Sunrise Service at Palm Mortuary. The inter-denominational program will feature musical performance by the Desert Chorale, Mary Kay Mendenhall, Casey Moore, Stephanie Givens and Jordan Blush. An additional service will be held at Palm Henderson Memorial Park.

Easter Egg Hunt & Celebration at MonteLago Village: MonteLago Village will host their annual Easter Egg Hunt on behalf of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. An event for the entire family, this fun-filled day begins at 11:00 am and runs until 2:00 pm. An entry fee of $3 per child will assist the charity. Various Easter Egg Hunts for age-appropriate groups will include prizes, toys and candy ... and yes, a chance to meet the Easter Bunny.

Easter brunch and dinner at Steiner's Pub : Steiner's Pub will be celebrating Easter with a special brunch and dinner menu. For brunch, they'll be serving up a variation of Eggs Benedict with a Spring Fruit Salad from 7 a.m. until noon. They will also be serving Grilled Lamb Chop Dinner with Rosemary Potatoes Rosti Style and Fresh Asparagus from 4 to 11 p.m.

Easter Brunch at DJT at Trump International: Enjoy a classy Easter Brunch at DJT at Trump International where you can dine on roast leg of lamb, pork loin, various types of seafood and an array of pastries and deserts. Champagne, Mimosas and Bloody Marys will also be available.

Easter Dinner at Society Café at Encore: Enjoy Easter Dinner at Society Café at Encore where you can dine on Caesar salad, mac 'n cheese bites, rack of lamb and warm donut bites with dipping sauces.

Easter Brunch at Hash House A Go Go: Spend your Easter Brunch at Hash House A Go Go where you can dine on beef filet and eggs, Andy's famous crabcake Benny, lamb chop hash and banana-coconut flapjacks with whipped cream.
