Politico names Sue Lowden’s among worst campaigns of the year

As spring eases into summer this Memorial Day, the political world is fixated on Big Trends:

If Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid wins reelection in Nevada, it may be thanks to those 14 words spoken by Republican challenger Sue Lowden in late April. Lowden, a wealthy casino executive and former state GOP chairwoman, was leading Reid in the polls and blowing away her primary foes, running television ads in Spanish before they could afford to air them in English.
