One of the biggest annual events on the high school basketball schedule takes place Saturday at South Point, headlined as usual by the game between national powers Bishop Gorman and Findlay Prep. Four other games surround the matchup this year, including a major girls matchup pitting Liberty against Desert Oasis to tip off the full day of basketball.
The action starts at 9:30 a.m. and should run until around 5 p.m. Ray Brewer and Case Keefer prognosticate two of the matchups — Gorman vs. Findlay, and Coronado vs. Clark — as part of their weekly picks column.
Check below for picks on 10 of the biggest games taking place over the next week.
