The lineup of the 2016 Electric Daisy Carnival has been announced, and the field of artists rivals the great expanse of the host venue, Las Vegas Motor Speedway. More than 250 acts are booked for the event, set for June 17-19 at LVMS.

The top-of-the-industry stars set to perform include Above & Beyond, Kaskade, Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Marshmello, Zedd, DJ Snake, The Chainsmokers and Afrojack.

The entire schedule is to be released closer to the event; general-admission seats for EDC were sold out over the weekend, but VIP packages remain. (For a full lineup and more information, go to the 2016 EDC website.

Produced by festival industry leader Insomniac, EDC is celebrating its 20th anniversary overall and sixth year in Las Vegas after being performed at various locations in Southern California, most recently Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, before moving to LVMS.

The speedway is reimagined as a kind of Disneyland for the EDM crowd, with eight stages of music and carnival rides spread across the venue’s infield. The event drew a record 405,000 fans in three days in June 2015, delivering $350 million to the Clark County economy.

Over the years, EDC has generated $1.3 billion for the local economy and drawn 1.7 million fans to LVMS.

“A milestone anniversary like this deserves a very special lineup, and we’ve got an incredible mix of top talent, on-the-rise names, old-school legends and artists who have never played the festival before,” Pasquale Rotella, founder and CEO of Insomniac, said in a news release today.

“We’ll also be introducing extended set times that will allow DJs to really take our headliners on a journey — and of course some specially curated 20th anniversary surprises that people will remember for years to come.”
