Family of teen found in storm drain offers reward

LAS VEGAS (AP) _ The family of a Las Vegas high school student found shot dead in a storm drain is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in his slaying.

A funeral was held Monday for 17-year-old Joseph Lopez, whose body was found a week ago in a tunnel beneath Tropicana Avenue near the 215 Beltway.

Lopez was a junior at Spring Valley High School. His family says he was a devoted music student and wasn't associated with any gangs. They can't understand why someone would shoot him.

Police last week questioned and released two people in the case.
