Superintendents want state to immediately seek Race to Top funds

In a letter to Ed Dept boss Keith Rheault, Nevada Association of School Superintendents President Walt Rulffes (of Clark County) urged the state to quickly fix the law blocking those federal Race to the Top funds and apply for the grants. It appears to be a plea to do it sooner rather than later -- that is by the Jan. 19 deadline for the first phase, which Gov.
