Early: 5,323
Mail: 3,763
I still think 50,000 total after Election Day is possible. It will depend on if usual surge in second week of early voting.
If you are curious, 4,543 (50 percent) of the voters so far are Democrats and 3,455 (38 percent) are Republicans in this nonpartisan race where one candidate (Victor Chaltiel) is making a direct appeal to the GOP as the rest of the frontrunners are Democrats. Actual city registration is Democrats, 46 percent, and Republicans, 33 percent.
