Romney to raise money in Reno on Aug. 3

Presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney will hold an event in Reno next month at the home of prominent GOP insider Patty Wade.

The event, touted by Wade in the email I have obtained and pasted below, will have four levels of participation. I doubt it gets to the $2 million Romney raised in Vegas -- we always do it bigger here -- but it looks like it could bring in some serious money (especially if southern folks come!). I find it interesting -- and hard to believe -- that Wade says this will be Romney's last visit to Northern Nevada before the election. I seriously doubt that, but....

Hello To All My Fellow Governor Romney Supporters,

Thanks so much for your interest in joining me in helping Governor Romney become our next President and for your efforts to date!

Everything has now been officially decided and fully approved by the National Romney Campaign Director for the Romney Reno Campaign Event as follows:

The Romney Event will be held for certain on Friday Aug 3rd at two locations beginning at my Eagle's Nest home at 10:45 am with a VIP $10K/person private discussion/photo session with Gov Romney, followed by another shorter private discussion with Gov Romney for the Gold $5K contributors at 11:15 am, and then a General Reception at 11:30 to 12:45pm at $2,500/person.

Then we move to a second Reno location-a Palace on the Hill for the exclusive private luncheon with Gov Romney and likely Gov Sandoval and other top elected State officials at a contribution level of $25K/person.

The National campaign has told us that this will likely be Governor Romney's only campaign appearance in N. NV prior to the election in November, so they are asking all Romney supporters to band together and lend as much financial support as possible at these Friday Aug 3rd fundraising Events.

Two questions, assuming you are in, at what level do you wish to participate and/or how many other folks do you think you can bring and at what levels? We need to know by the end of this week the names of all Sponsors ($5K/person or higher) for the official invitation and particularly anyone wanting to attend the private luncheon with Governor Romney at the $25K/person level as it is limited to 20 couples max and 10 spots are already spoken for :) We are doing very well coming out of the blocks I am happy to report, but still have much work to do!
