UNLV basketball coach Lon Kruger received 6-foot-10 center Brice Massamba’s signed letter of intent Monday.
It required the signature of his mother in Sweden and had been delayed in the mail. The spring signing period started April 16.
Massamba joins a class that includes guard Oscar Bellfield, forward DeShawn Mitchell and forward Darris Santee.
Kruger noted Massamba’s size, maturity and leadership in a release by the school.
Massamba has attended Finlday College Prep the past two seasons and he played on the Swedish national team, in a Euro Cup qualifying tournament, in 2006.
