Tyson Griffin – in addition to his “Rocky” entrance song – had an interesting wardrobe choice. He went with white spandex with an ad for condomdepot.com on the rear.
Griffin is also sponsored by zappos.com, one of the Sun’s neighbors out in Green Valley. So that’s good for him.
About a minute into the fight the crowd voiced its displeasure at the lack of action. Almost immediately there were a few combos landed.
Then the fight slowed again. Round two began equally slow.
The crowd began chanting for Griffin, the local favorite.
By round three both guys looked gassed. The crowd was not pleased with the slow start to the show.
Griffin won by unanimous decision with all three judges scoring the fight 30-27.
He used his post fight comment time to remind folks he’s hosting a party at LAX tonight in Luxor.
Following the fight images of Forrest and Rampage were shown on the six huge screens surrounding the building. Forrest is definitely the fan favorite.
