Pair of CSN pitchers from ‘03 title season doing well

Two pitchers from the College of Southern Nevada baseball championship season of 2003 are in Las Vegas and doing well.

Jeff Jacobsen is about to graduate from UNLV. He will be a probation officer. He went 4-0, with a 3.93 ERA, for CSN (when it was CCSN) during that NJCAA World Series-winning season.

Billy Leigh went to school in Georgia for two years and has been working for a consumer-products company for the past three years. He plans on finishing his degree requirements at UNLV and getting into sales. He was 2-0, with a 3.86 ERA, for the Coyotes in 2003.

The status of both could not be determined for a Wednesday story in the Sun about where those players are now.
