Odds favor Big Brown at Preakness, tossup on Triple Crown

It's close to a toss-up whether Big Brown will win horse racing's 2008 Triple Crown, according to odds posted in Las Vegas race and sports books.

At the Plaza downtown, it's minus-110 (risk $1.10 to win $1) that Big Brown, the Kentucky Derby winner who's favored in Saturday's Preakness Stakes, will win the Triple Crown. Bettors can also risk the same amount, $1.10 to win $1, that he will not win the Triple Crown.

Big Brown backers can also check out the Las Vegas Hilton, which has it plus-115 that he will win the Triple Crown, minus-135 that he will not.

The Plaza offers another proposition asking, "Will Big Brown win the Preakness?" The "yes" side is minus-350, and it's plus-290 on the "no" side.

Another prop at the Plaza asks, "Will Big Brown win the Belmont?" The "yes" side is minus-190 and the "no" is plus-170.
