UFL unveils season schedule

The United Football League announced its inaugural season schedule today including the league opener between Las Vegas and San Francisco at Sam Boyd Stadium on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 6 p.m. That game will be televised on VERSUS.

The full UFL season schedule is as follows:

Week 1:

Oct. 8 - San Francisco at Las Vegas (Sam Boyd Stadium, 6 p.m., VERSUS)

Oct. 10 - New York at Florida (Citrus Bowl, 4 p.m., HDNet)

Week 2:

Oct. 14 - Florida at Las Vegas (Sam Boyd Stadium, 6 p.m., VERSUS)

Oct. 17 - New York at San Francisco (AT&T Park, 6 p.m., HDNet)

Week 3:

Oct. 22 - San Francisco at Florida (Citrus Bowl, 4 p.m., VERSUS)

Byes - Las Vegas and New York

Week 4:

Oct. 29 - San Francisco at New York (TBA, 4 p.m., VERSUS)

Oct. 30 - Las Vegas at Florida (TBA, 4 p.m., HDNet)

Week 5:

Nov. 4 - Las Vegas at New York (Hofstra University, 4 p.m., VERSUS)

Byes - Florida and San Francisco

Week 6:

Nov. 12 - Las Vegas at San Francisco (AT&T Park, 6 p.m., VERSUS)

Nov. 14 - Florida at New York (Rentschler Field, 4 p.m., HDNet)

Week 7:

Nov. 19 - Florida at San Francisco (AT&T Park, 6 p.m., VERSUS)

Nov. 20 - New York at Las Vegas (Home Depot Center in Los Angeles, 6 p.m., HDNet)

Championship Game:

Nov. 27 at Sam Boyd Stadium at noon on VERSUS

Tickets for most games go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m. The average regular season ticket price is supposed to be $20. To purchase tickets for games at Sam Boyd Stadium, call UNLV Tickets Charge by Phone at 702.739.FANS or log onto www.UNLVtickets.com. Fans can also visit any UNLV Tickets Outlets, located at The Galleria at Sunset, all Stations Casinos and Fiestas.

Tickets are also available to purchase at the Thomas and Mack Arena Box Office. Box office is open Monday-Friday from 10-6 and 10-4 on Saturday. Fans can purchase three-game season package (two regular season games plus Championship Game) with a savings of $5 per ticket(s).
