New Orleans Pelicans plus-4.5 vs. Los Angeles Clippers: $550 to win $500 : It will be tough for the Clippers to get up for this game, having beat Oklahoma City Sunday in a nationally televised contest. The Clippers put up 125 points against Oklahoma City, putting on a good show for an ABC audience in showing they could win the Western Conference. I expect Los Angeles to have a big-time letdown.
New Orleans, which should receive a boost from a soldout hometown crowd, is looking for a signature victory. This game means more to the Pelicans than the Clippers, plain and simple. Play New Orleans.
