New Orleans Pelicans minus-10½ against Los Angeles Lakers: $330 to win $300
The Lakers are on fire, at least from a betting perspective, going 4-1 against the spread in their last five. Sure, Los Angeles has only won once this year, but their losing close enough that it counts. That takes a break tonight.
The Pelicans enter the game from an off day that followed road trips to San Antonio and Cleveland (New Orleans went 1-1). They more than held their own in those games, and now they’re back home to face a Lakers team playing for the second straight night. I’m expecting a laugher.
