I suspect both sign callers will need a half of action to become comfortable and wouldn’t be surprised if play callers stuck to running plays early. That would drain the clock, playing to the points total under.
When the teams met last December in the Russell Athletic Bowl, the Louisville defense dominated in a 36-9 victory — easily covering the under. With today being Louisville’s first game as ACC members, they’ll be looking for make a statement. Except another strong defensive performance, especially at what should be a soldout home stadium. Points will be hard to come by.
