Miami Marlins minus-125 vs. Philadelphia Phillies: $500 to win $400:: I love betting against Philadelphia starter Aaron Harang. The 37-year-old leads baseball with 14 defeats. He has a 9.72 earned run average in his last four starts, surrendering at least six runs in three of those appearances.
It gets better for Miami backers.
In six starts last season against Miami, Harang posted a 0-3 record and 6.15 ERA. All-time, he’s 1-4 against the Marlins with a 8.12 ERA.
Both teams are auditioning younger players in the final six weeks of the season, but the Marlins still have speedster Dee Gordon batting leadoff and the all-star should do plenty to help Miami again rough up Harang.
