Vegas Play of the Day: Kansas City Royals at Toronto Blue Jays

Kansas City Royals at Toronto Blue Jays under 8.5 runs at minus-105: $525 to win $500

Royals starter Danny Duffy has been stellar lately, dropping his ERA nearly a full run and a half during July (5.44 to 4.03). The Blue Jays were already good before bringing in Troy Tulowitzki and David Price, but those two make them legit contenders, meaning this could be an American League Championship Series preview.

With that in mind, I think we’re in for a grind-it-out type of game tonight. Kansas City’s defense is good enough to gobble up some mistakes and the pitching is going to be there to the point that I see this as a 3-1 type of win for one of these teams.
