Vegas Play of the Day: Cleveland Indians at Seattle Mariners

Here’s the latest installment of the Play of the Day, which uses odds from the South Point. Our three sports writers started with a $10,000 bankroll — fictional, of course.

Cleveland Indians at Seattle Mariners under-7 runs: $550 to win $500

Last year’s AL Cy Young Award winner Corey Kluber is starting to resemble that guy again after the Indians lost in his first seven starts. Kluber has 37 strikeouts and only one walk in his last three starts, and none of them resulted in more than three total runs.

On the mound for the home team is James Paxton, who’s allowed four earned runs over four starts in May. With this much pointing toward a low-scoring game, I’m pretty comfortable grabbing the under tonight at Safeco Field.
