Wake Forest minus-1 vs. Richmond: $550 to win $500
Wake Forest is a diminished team without guard Codi Miller-McIntyre, who’s recovering from a broken foot. He led the team in scoring last season and without him in the season opener, the Demon Deacons barely beat Maryland-Baltimore County.
However, I think Wake Forest is closer to the team that on Sunday went to Bucknell as a four-point underdog and won outright. Senior forward Devin Thomas is a decent inside player, and coach Danny Manning has enough guys to win by half a dozen at home in this one.
Current Standings (as of July 1): Brewer (22-18, $10,590), Bern (14-21, $7,455), Keefer (16-28-2, $5,371)
