Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco (5) looks to pass under pressure from Pittsburgh Steelers nose tackle Cam Thomas (96) during the first half of an NFL football game Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014, in Baltimore.

We've reset the Play of the Day with fresh bankrolls and turned it into a yearly competition. Our three sports writers have re-started with $10,000 bankrolls to continue using on odds from the South Point.

Baltimore Ravens plus-9 at Arizona Cardinals: $330 to win $300 The Baltimore Ravens aren’t as bad as their 1-5 record would indicate, and Arizona probably isn’t as good as its 4-2 record. Baltimore’s point differential is just minus-19 points for the season, meaning it shouldn’t be a nine-point underdog at Arizona on Monday Night Football.

The line opened at minus-7.5 but has been bet up by Arizona supporters. I’m just not seeing why. I don’t trust the Cardinals.

Rather, I’m convinced Baltimore will have a good showing. While Joe Flacco is fifth in the NFL in interceptions and having a down season, he can’t be this bad all season. He’s a Super Bowl champion, after all.

Baltimore’s defense does raise a red flag, which is why I’m wagering just $330. It is surrendering 27 points per game to rank 26th out of 32 teams in the league.
