Chicago opened the season Monday with an example of why it’s one of the favorites to win this year’s World Series. So while they’re not all going to be as easy as a 9-0 stomping, I think the offense is going to keep some of that rolling today against the Angels’ Andrew Heaney.
The Cubs will go with Jon Lester, who had a middling first season in Chicago, but all I need out of him is a middling start. Chicago’s hitters are seeing the ball well right now, and I might try to ride the wave for a month or two.
