Vegas Play of the Day: Mets at Phillies

New York Mets minus-1.5 runs at Philadelphia, plus-105: $400 to win $420 : I’m going to bet against the Phillies all season. They have a young roster and struggle to score, managing 34 runs in 13 games to rank 28th in the major leagues.

Today, they face the Mets’ Noah Syndergaard, who has been baseball’s best pitcher in the initial two weeks of the season. Syndergaard has a 0.69 earned run average in 13 innings over two starts in 2016, recording 21 strikeouts and just three walks. He’s allowed 10 hits.

Philly played an extra inning game yesterday and will be tired. NOTE: I initially said the game was in Washington. It was in Philly
