Vegas Play of the Day: New Mexico at Utah State

New Mexico minus-2.5 at Utah State: $440 to win $400

The Lobos can strengthen their hold on second place of a one-bid league tonight in a road game at Utah State. New Mexico is coming off an overtime loss at first-place San Diego State, while the Aggies have lost five straight — four by double digits.

Basically, Utah State has to be treated as one of the Mountain West’s worst teams from here on out. I still don’t have a ton of faith in New Mexico outside of the excellent duo of Elijah Brown and Tim Williams, but that’s more than Utah State has to work with and as long as they stay on the floor, they should be able to guide the Lobos to an easy victory.
