UCLA plus-3 vs. Arizona: $330 to win $300
There’s not a better buy-low candidate on the board today than UCLA. The Bruins have lost two straight to open Pac-12 Conference play, giving tonight’s home game against the Wildcats a must-win feel.
The vast majority of money is coming in on Arizona, which has won eight straight. But the winning streak hasn’t exactly come against grade-A competition.
The best victory during the stretch was a 5-point win at Gonzaga. UCLA also beat Gonzaga by 5 points on the road a week later.
The Bruins shot a dreadful 39 percent in their back-to-back losses to Washington and Washington State. There’s little doubt they’re better positioned to hit shots in their home building, especially leading scorer Bryce Alford, who’s gone 7-for-32 from the field in the last two games.
UCLA is nothing special, but Arizona also isn’t the overwhelming force that’s won the Pac-12 in each of the last two years. The value is on the home team because if this game were played a week or two ago, there’s no way they would have gotten three points on the spread.
