Vegas Play of the Day: Kansas at Iowa State

Kansas at Iowa State under-161 points: $660 to win $600

Kansas is in an ATS tailspin, and the straight-up results haven’t been great, either, as KU has dropped two of the last four, both on the road. Now the Jayhawks head to another tough environment at Iowa State, where last Monday the Cyclones took down No. 1 Oklahoma.

The Jayhawks are still full of potential and if they figure out the frontcourt rotation, then I’ll again feel confident in them as national-title favorites. But for right now, it’s hard to figure out what you’re going to get game-to-game. And as long as that’s the case, I’ll look to the total, which tonight seems a few points too high for a pair of teams that have each gone under lower numbers in three of their last five games.

Kansas’ totals have been dwindling during this swoon, and going over would be up to Iowa State tonight. While I think the Cyclones have a good shot at the victory, I like Kansas’ defense to muddle things up and keep us around 155.
