Vegas Play of the Day: Baltimore Orioles at Toronto Blue Jays

We’re entering the third season of the annual South Point-lined Play of the Day competition, effective July 1.

Starting bankrolls have reset to $10,000, with the maximum bet being to win $1,000 and the minimum wager $300. Ray Brewer won the 2015-2016 season, after Taylor Bern prevailed in 2014-2015.

As noted Thursday, Baltimore has now gone under in 16 straight games. Since I started this third version of Play of the Day 0-4 because I’m awful at baseball, I’m just going to stick with this streak and see if I can ride it out back toward $10,000.

The Orioles played a make-up game in Minnesota on Thursday, so tonight is the start of a three-game series in Toronto. Baltimore starter Kevin Gausman is only 2-7 on the year, but over his last two starts, he’s allowed only two earned runs.
