San Diego State minus-5 vs. Georgia Tech: $550 to win $500
The Aztecs have been getting big crowds and big results in the NIT, and they’re back in Viejas Arena tonight with a trip to Madison Square Garden on the line. With a home-court advantage and an NCAA Tournament-caliber roster responding to their snub with resounding victories, I’m confident the Aztecs will be able to make it to New York.
Covering the spread in what should be a pretty low-scoring game will be tricky, but that’s where I think the crowd will come in and push SDSU over the top. Georgia Tech will crumble late and the Aztecs will go to New York for the NIT semifinals.
