Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James (23) reacts in the first half against the Atlanta Hawks during Game 2 of a second-round NBA basketball playoff series, Wednesday, May 4, 2016, in Cleveland.

We've reset the Play of the Day with fresh bankrolls and turned it into a yearly competition. Our three sports writers have re-started with $10,000 bankrolls to continue using on odds from the South Point.

Cleveland Cavs at Toronto Raptors, Total Over 198: $550 to win $500: In my last entry for our play of the day contest, I also played a Cavs-Raptors Eastern Conference Finals game over the points total. The teams combined for 108 points in the first half, but Cleveland fell flat with a 14-point fourth quarter and the game stayed under.

I’m all about second chances.

Using the same logic as last week, I’ll jump back on the total over. Cleveland, with the exception of the two games at Toronto in this series, has been lights-out shooting in the playoffs. Cleveland was making 46-percent of its 3-pointers in the playoffs entering the series, and three times in five games has scored more than 100 points.

Toronto needs to win to extend its season. That means it will have to score with Cleveland. That also means it will foul at the end of the game with hopes of extending the season.
