Kansas City’s bid for a playoff spot took a significant hit with three straight losses and four out of seven, but the Twins are the cure for what ails most teams this season.
The Royals took the first game of the series 11-5 — their eighth over in nine games — and now it’s Dillon Gee vs. former Royal Ervin Santana. Gee’s bounced in and out of the rotation, tossing a scoreless inning last week after giving up one earned run over six innings in his last start (against the Yankees).
Santana has a lot of blowup potential, and I think that’s what’s going to happen with a parlay of Royals and the over the way to go.
