Vegas Play of the Day: Kansas City Royals at Minnesota Twins

We’re entering the third season of the annual South Point-lined Play of the Day competition, effective July 1.

Starting bankrolls have reset to $10,000, with the maximum bet being to win $1,000 and the minimum wager $300. Ray Brewer won the 2015-2016 season, after Taylor Bern prevailed in 2014-2015.

Kansas City Royals at Minnesota Twins over-8.5 runs minus-120: $420 to win $350

Let’s ride the wave: Kansas City has gone over the total in nine of the last 10, and that should continue against the Twins.

The Royals have scored 21 so far in two victories at Minnesota, and over the last 12 games, they’re averaging 6.4 runs per game. Kansas City’s offense is on a roll right now and it paid off yesterday, so I’m trying to keep it rolling.
