New York-New York Hotel & Casino

Inspired by the famous energy and landmarks of New York City, New York-New York Hotel & Casino features 12 New York-style skyscrapers showcasing 2,023 guest rooms and suites. Other featured Big Apple icons include a 150-foot-tall replica of the Statue of Liberty and a 300-foot-long replica of the Brooklyn Bridge. Within the resort, guests discover all the energy and excitement of the city that never sleeps, from enticing entertainment including the provocative and sensuous Cirque du Soleil production, Zumanity, the thrilling Roller Coaster and the fun-filled dueling pianos of Bar at Times Square, to tantalizing restaurants such as The Sporting House Bar & Grill, Gallagher's Steakhouse, Il Fornaio and Nine Fine Irishmen, an authentic pub offering the best of Irish drink, food and music. Additionally, New York-New York offers more than 24,000 square feet of meeting space and a rejuvenating spa and salon. MGM Resorts, the parent company of New York-New York, has begun a project to build a park-like outdoor setting between New York-New York and the Monte Carlo.

This full-service walk-up bar provides a mix of modern libations and classic cocktails. Frozen specialty drinks include Strawberry Daiquiri, Tropical Mojito and Piña Colada. Bottled and draft beer also is on tap.

The sexiness of Coyote Ugly's bartenders can't be contained by the bar's walls, with jean-and-tank-top-clad girls even gyrating on the counter in the hall, where impatient partiers buy drinks while waiting in line. Inside, Danielle Della Valle epitomizes the hot staff: a gorgeous brunette in low jeans and snug bikini top whose dancing skills on the bar are as alluring as her aptitude with a bottle of Jack and her expertise with a soda gun, spraying the crowd with water while her equally stunning cohorts grind to Kid Rock's "Cowboy." Proof that God exists is that you can catch them seven days a week, starting at 6pm each night.
Nine Fine IrishmenNine Fine Irishmen
Irish cuisine is no oxymoron at this beautiful replica of an authentic Dublin pub. The restaurant's name is inspired by a group of extraordinary Irish nationalists from the mid 1800s who led lives of political martrydom and adventure, which led three of them to escape to America. (See their history.) Executive chef David Suppe's menu includes Drunken Onion Rings (beer-battered and Bloody Mary marinated), a Sloppy Pat, corned beef sandwich, Shepherd's Pie, Irish Banger and Fish & Chips. Lunch is 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and dinner starts at 4 p.m Happy Hour is 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Nightly entertainment starts at 9 p.m., featuring the house Irish band and championship Irish step dancer Tara Reid.
