Las Vegas Metroploitan Music Museum Hall of Fame 2012 Innaugural Inductees to be Announced
Published on Tue, Oct 2, 2012 (1:42 a.m.)The Las Vegas Metroploitan Music Museum Hall of Fame will announce the 2012 Innaugural Inductees at the "KCEP 40th Anniversary Gala". The event will be held at Sam's Town October 7, 2012. Inductees include some of the Music Industry's most successful Motown and Billboard Top 20 Artists, Producers, Vocal Arrangers and Promoters.
The LV-MMM Hall of Fame has been established to recognize and honor those who have made significant contributions to musical history. The goal of the museum and hall of fame is to enlighten, educate, and inspire adults as well as new generations, in the preservation of music.
The Museum will display and preserve artifacts and memorbillia of those inducted into the Hall of Fame along with top-noteworthy performing and non-performing artists. Groups and individuals will be inducted in multiple catagories. An educational component will attempt to bridge the gap between music education and diverse cultures through exposure to Classical and other genres of music.
KCEP FM 88.1 is celebrating 40 years of extraordinary broadcasting service. The evening of dining and dancing is hosted by comedian George Wallace and there will be a video presentation of the Hall of Fame Inductees.
