ADDITIONAL ARTIST INFORMATION & PHOTOS:
Headlining the program is one of the most popular versatile entertainers in Las Vegas, award-winning Wes Winters. With extensive vocal, stage and piano abilities, his list of credits include television, radio, live theater, composing and producing to name a few. Winters was inspired to play piano upon seeing the famous pianist Liberace on television at the age of 5. It was at this young age that Wes actively began listening to recordings of Liberace and became a self-taught pianist playing "by ear". Winters is not an impersonator nor a “look-alike”, but a “sound-a like” from the very moment his fingers hit the keys. With an innate talent possessed by few, Winters has achieved a virtuoso standing, both vocally and instrumentally around the world and has been entertaining professionally for more than 22 years.
A newcomer to PASNV programs and native Las Vegas talent discovery is Tommy Ward, currently a senior at Las Vegas Academy of International Studies, Performing and Visual Arts. Tommy is the headliner for the 17 piece Rossi-Reyes jazz orchestra, and the front man for pop band, Carpe Diem. His many musical performances include The Bootlegger, The Copa Room, The E-String, The Starbright Theatre, Family Music, The Mandarin Oriental, and the Carnation Stage in Disneyland. Tommy and the Rossi-Reyes Orchestra opened the Las Vegas San Gennaro Festival for 2012. Tommy has been cast as Bobby Vee in a 39 city tour of The History of Music Tribute.
Christine Sidell studies classically at Las Vegas Academy of International Studies, Performing and Visual Arts and sings in Italian, French, German, & English. In the Spring of 2012 Christine was selected through competition as the best female high school vocalist in Nevada. A member of the West Coast Honor Choir, Christine was also selected to join the Las Vegas Master Singers as their youngest singer and soloist. Christine's opera performances include Amahal and the Night Visitor with Sin City Opera, Don Giovanni with Opera Las Vegas. Not surprisingly, Christine starred as Gretel in the Nevada Opera Company’s production of Hansel and Gretel.
A Sydney Australia transplant, James Allen is a graduate of (NIDA) Sydney’s prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art where he studied musical theatre. An extraordinary tenor with brilliant quality and range, James credits include, "Jesus Christ Superstar", "Guys & Dolls", "West Side Story", "Les Miserables", and the Australian Touring Cast of "Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs." He is currently a principal singer in Don Arden's Jubilee on the Las Vegas Strip.
Originally from Huntington Beach CA, Laurie Caceres has sung and danced her way through Las Vegas, delighting audience for nearly two decades in hit shows like Legends in Concert, EFX starring Michael Crawford, Godspell, The Wiz and Smokey Joes Café. Laurie has performed as a lead singer in Folies Bergere, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Elsa Schraeder in Sound of Music, Zelda Zanders in Singin' in the Rain, lead singer in Viva Las Vegas. Ms Caceres is currently a principle singer in Jubilee! and over the past two years has taken on the task of Company Manager and Set Coordinator for the very popular “Jimmy Stewart and Friends” starring Mr. Rich Little.
Nellie Norris is an extremely versatile singer/dancer with a sensibility for comedy and a flair for impersonation. You can catch her rocking out as a headliner in a country show, telling a silly joke in a vaudeville revue or belting out a pop song on an outdoor stage. Making people smile is not a chore but an instinct for this multi-talented entertainer who is proud to call Las Vegas home.
With family roots in Italy Gabriella Versace has been singing and dancing from a very young age performing with such legendary greats such as, Ann Miller, Cyd Charisse and Tony Martin. Trained classically in opera, Gabriella represented her state as Miss Pennsylvania at the Miss America pageant and since coming to Las Vegas has starred in numerous productions including Greg Thompsons’ “Showgirls” and “Honky Tonk Cowgirls.”
