Local Pit Bull and Chihuahua owners can save up to 64% at The Animal Foundation’s Low-Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic.
Las Vegas, Nev. – In celebration of World Spay Day (February 26, 2013), The Animal Foundation is offering deep discounts for local Pit Bull and Chihuahua owners at their Low-Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic. During the month of February. male and female Chihuahuas can be altered for $30, and male and female Pit Bulls can be altered for $50 – a savings of up to 64% on the Foundation’s already low-priced surgeries.
“Spaying and neutering is the most effective way to reduce pet overpopulation in our community,” says Christine Robinson, Executive Director for The Animal Foundation.
It’s also the law. City of North Las Vegas, City of Las Vegas, City of Henderson and Clark County have passed mandatory spay and neuter ordinances requiring residents to alter their family pets.
“By offering our procedures at a significant discount in February, we hope to shed light on the importance of spaying and neutering, and encourage members of the community to take advantage of our services and play an important role in reducing the number of lost, unwanted and abandoned animals we see entering our shelter every year,” Robinson continues.
The Animal Foundation receives approximately 45,000 animals annually, and more Pit Bulls and Chihuahuas enter the shelter than any other breed. Spaying and neutering can help prevent thousands of unwanted pets resulting from unplanned and unwanted litters from entering shelters each year.
While the February discount is only available for Pit Bulls and Chihuahuas, the Foundation’s Low-Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic accepts appointments for all cats and dogs, and prides itself on providing quality services available to the public at a fraction of the cost of veterinary hospital procedures. All of The Animal Foundation’s surgeries are priced below $100.
February appointments are limited. Pit Bull and Chihuahua owners interested in taking advantage of the discounted pricing should schedule their appointments as soon as possible by calling The Animal Foundation’s Low-Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic at 702-384-3333 x137.
